Hope Recovers Behavioral Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Clinical Mental Health Counselor to join our innovative team. In this crucial role, you will provide teletherapy services to adolescents and young adults grappling with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. As a fully remote position, you will enjoy the flexibility of working from home while having a reliable internet connection. The dynamic nature of remote work allows you to manage your schedule, with core hours from Monday to Friday between 9 AM to 5 PM. You will collaborate with a supportive Operations team that manages administrative tasks, allowing you to focus on providing the highest quality of mental health care without the stress of bureaucracy. • Conduct virtual assessments and screenings to thoroughly evaluate clients’ substance use histories and mental health status, determining individual needs and treatment pathways.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches, fostering an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary care team members—including psychiatrists, social workers, and peer support specialists—to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.
• Educate and support families in the recovery process, encouraging their involvement and understanding of clients’ therapeutic journeys.
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records in compliance with relevant legal and regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of patient information.

This role primarily focuses on providing mental health services to adolescents and young adults, a demographic that requires specialized approaches to therapy due to the unique challenges they face. By employing evidence-based practices tailored to this age group, you will support clients in navigating their mental health struggles and achieving long-term recovery. Your interactions will foster resilience and empower young clients to lead fulfilling lives.

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Current and active state licensure as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD).
• Demonstrated experience in providing telehealth therapy, particularly to adolescents and young adults, highlighting your adaptability to digital treatment modalities.
• Proficiency in technology, with advanced skills in using online platforms like Google Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHRs) to manage client information effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, necessary for clear and empathetic interaction with clients and their families.
• Strong presentation skills, maintaining a neat and professional appearance during virtual sessions.

• 2-3 years of documented experience delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, contributing to improved patient outcomes.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development within our evidence-based care pathways to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Ability to work independently from a remote setting while managing time effectively to meet client needs and deadlines.
• A warm, empathetic approach to patient engagement that fosters a sense of safety and trust during therapy sessions.

• Salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, highly competitive based on experience.
