Job description

Position Overview

Top Core Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our compassionate team on a part-time basis. This role presents a unique opportunity for dedicated mental health professionals to provide effective therapeutic services to diverse clients in a supportive and collaborative work setting.

About the Organization

At Top Core Psychotherapy Center, we are committed to transforming lives through excellent mental health care. Our practice focuses on delivering compassionate, evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, and families. We understand that every client is unique and strive to create tailored solutions that promote emotional well-being and resilience. Our team's collective expertise in family and marriage therapy creates a dynamic atmosphere for professional growth and client success.

Work Environment

This part-time position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in scheduling while still providing direct support to clients. Our outpatient office in Greenbelt, Maryland, serves as a hub for collaboration and resources. Therapists will have the opportunity to engage with a supportive team of mental health professionals, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care. While much of the work is conducted online, in-office meetings and training sessions may occur periodically to maintain a strong team dynamic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychotherapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, providing the necessary emotional support and therapeutic guidance.
  • Evaluate clients' mental health needs through assessments and interviews to develop customized treatment plans that align with their goals.
  • Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and systems theory, to facilitate healing and personal growth.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in regular team meetings for case consultation, best practice discussions, and peer support to enhance treatment strategies.
  • Stay updated with current trends and advancements in marriage and family therapy to deliver high-quality care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population encompasses a rich diversity of backgrounds and experiences. We serve individuals and families facing challenges such as relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. As an LMFT, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate their issues, fostering deeper connections and healthier family dynamics. Your therapeutic expertise will empower clients to embrace their personal journeys toward healing and stability.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Maryland.
  • Demonstrated expertise in various therapeutic modalities catering to both individuals and families.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for articulating clients’ needs and progress effectively.
  • Empathetic interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working within outpatient settings, particularly with couples and families.
  • Knowledge of community resources and support systems to provide comprehensive client care.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases effectively while maintaining high-quality therapeutic standards.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from $50,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience and productivity. Our benefits package includes ongoing training and development opportunities specifically designed for marriage and family therapists, access to resources for professional development, and a supportive supervisory structure to guide your career growth.

At Top Core Psychotherapy Center, we believe in nurturing the career trajectories of our staff. Employees will have opportunities for advancement within the organization as we continue to expand our services. Additionally, our commitment to education means you will receive valuable training in the latest therapeutic approaches, enhancing your skills and increasing your marketability as a mental health professional.

Why Join Our Team

We offer a supportive environment that values collaboration, diversity, and integrity. Be part of a team that is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve while enhancing your professional expertise in a dynamic field.
