Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify the social, emotional, and psychological needs of clients, tailoring your approach to each individual's unique circumstances.
  • Deliver evidence-based counseling and therapeutic interventions, both individually and in group settings, focused on trauma-informed care and behavioral health.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop personalized service plans that clearly outline their goals, objectives, and necessary support resources.
  • Actively advocate for clients’ rights and access to various resources, ensuring equitable care and addressing any barriers they may encounter within the system.
  • Participate in ongoing program development, service evaluation, and grant reporting efforts, contributing to the overall effectiveness and sustainability of our therapeutic initiatives.
  • Engage with other mental health professionals, community organizations, and stakeholders to enhance our collective service offerings.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development workshops, and community outreach activities, building connections and showcasing our commitment to community health.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals and families grappling with mental health disorders, trauma, addiction, and other challenging life situations. Your counseling will cater to marginalized groups and those facing socioeconomic disadvantages, aiming to equip them with the tools and support necessary for resilience and recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is required to ensure a strong foundational knowledge of mental health practices.
  • An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory for this role, allowing you to practice and provide clinical therapeutic services.
  • A strong understanding of social justice principles, advocacy strategies, and community resources is crucial for an effective practice.
  • Excellent communication, empathetic listening, and organizational skills are vital to building rapport with clients and facilitating comprehensive care.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in a nonprofit organization or a community health setting is highly valued, offering insight into collaborative service delivery models.

Compensation and Benefits
