This role operates in a completely remote telehealth setting, providing flexibility and convenience for both our counselors and clients. You will engage with clients through virtual consultations, ensuring that barriers to accessing mental health support are minimized. Our virtual environment is equipped with state-of-the-art technology that facilitates seamless communication and documentation, promoting an effective therapeutic experience.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aiming at achieving specific therapeutic goals for each client.
• Deliver complete academic, professional, and personal counseling services, attending to various facets of mental health tailored to a multicultural client demographic.
• Guide clients in daily living skills such as shopping, cooking, and meal planning, enhancing their ability to live independently and healthily.
• Monitor and assist with medication management, including reminders for medication intake and timely refills to ensure adherence to prescribed regimens.
• Provide adequate transportation assistance, whether through agency resources or teaching clients how to efficiently use public transport for accessing medical appointments.
• Meet the critical standards of care by ensuring that services are delivered in a manner that prioritizes client satisfaction and measurable outcomes.
• Work collaboratively within a team, maintaining open lines of communication with colleagues to foster a unified approach to client care.
• Guarantee compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations relevant to healthcare services.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation, including client notes and progress reports, adhering to established agency policies.
• Actively observe and report on clients’ emotional and behavioral states, ensuring proper safety protocols and acting as a positive role model.

Your work primarily involves serving a diverse range of clients, with an emphasis on those requiring mental health counseling. You will provide care to individuals from various backgrounds, including youth and adults facing challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. The goal is to empower these individuals by equipping them with the necessary skills and support to manage their mental health effectively.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• You must hold a valid license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, LMHC) in California. Note that we cannot accept applicants with associate licenses due to billing restrictions with Medicare.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite, are essential for managing documentation and communication.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple cases while demonstrating strong organizational skills.

• Previous experience working with geriatric clients is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Comfort in utilizing telehealth platforms and a strong understanding of effective virtual counseling methods.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, reflecting your experience and contributions.
