Volunteer Drivers Needed - Feed Elderly/Low-Income Around San Mateo


•Point of Contact would be volunteering@samaritanhousesanmateo.org

•For schedule or dates, we are flexible and will work with their schedule

•Total time of support can range between a 1.5 to 3 hours. The first time completing a route is generally the longest.


Samaritan House provides daily hot meals to our clients who wouldn't otherwise have access to cooked food. This opportunity would entail picking up the warm meals from our Samaritan House kitchen and delivering them to the one of the several routes we have based within the peninsula. The food pick-up time would depend on the route you would be supporting with but it is generally between 2:00pm – 4:00pm. There are routes that are in need of ongoing, weekly support but if that does not work with your availability we would be happy to add you to our sub list.


Requirements:
  • Drivers must be fully licensed and 18 or older (or have your permit/license and a parent/guardian passenger).
