Platform Engineer - AWS Certified Professional - Princeton, NJ (Hybrid) - Will consider regionally remote candidates

  • Design platform solutions with operability and supportability as firstclass concerns, including clear success criteria, failure handling, rollback strategies, and defined ownership.
  • Act as a primary technical communication bridge between application development and infrastructure teams, providing clear, timely updates and ensuring shared understanding including security and compliance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify and surface technical and security risks early in the delivery lifecycle and work with application teams to address them prior to deployment rather than reactively postrelease.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems, support incident management and provide root cause analysis.
  • Work closely with IT, Business and Vendor teams.
  • Assist in modernizing on-prem legacy applications in AWS.
  • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for application builds, testing, and deployment.
  • Automate application deployment workflows targeting AWS services, with an emphasis on reliability and repeatability.

  • Provision, configure and maintain/monitor AWS resources.
  • Write and maintain Terraform code to manage AWS infrastructure in a repeatable, version-controlled manner.
  • Perform code reviews.
  • Contribute to policies, standards, and guidelines for Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices.
  • Apply security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
  • Assist with compliance-related tasks such as audit logging, vulnerability scanning and patch management.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, Datadog, or similar tools.
  • Develop and maintain platform and system documentation.
