To thrive as a Remote Content Marketer, you need strong writing, content strategy, and SEO skills, often supported by a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, analytics tools such as Google Analytics, and SEO platforms like SEMrush or Ahrefs is typically required. Outstanding time management, creativity, and collaboration skills help remote content marketers excel in virtual work environments. These abilities are crucial for creating engaging, results-driven content and achieving marketing goals while working independently.

How do remote content marketers typically collaborate with designers and other team members to ensure cohesive campaigns?

Remote content marketers often rely on digital collaboration tools like Slack, Trello, or Asana to communicate and coordinate with designers, SEO specialists, and other stakeholders. Regular virtual meetings and shared project management boards help keep everyone aligned on campaign goals, timelines, and feedback. Remote content marketers are professionals who create, manage, and promote digital content for brands or organizations while working from a location outside of a traditional office. Their responsibilities often include writing blog posts, managing social media, developing content strategies, and analyzing performance metrics to engage audiences and drive business goals. They collaborate with other marketing team members virtually, using online tools and platforms to communicate and manage projects. This remote setup allows them to work from anywhere, offering flexibility and access to a broader range of clients or employers.

How our Content Marketer spends their time:
  • Leverage data-driven insights into buyer personas to create tailored content that meets prospects and clients at their specific stage of the journey;
  • Strategize and launch marketing campaigns designed to generate leads, utilizing a mix of sales sheets, ebooks, case studies, infographics, etc;
  • Lead the end-to-end ideation, creation, and execution of the Verified First blog with a focus on SEO and GEO best practices;
  • Build and deploy effective email engagement trees and templates that nurture prospects through the buyer journey;
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to drive the success of high-priority initiatives;
  • Coordinate and promote marketing efforts across internal departments to ensure company-wide alignment and content adoption;
  • Proactively research industry trends to keep Verified First at the forefront of the market, translating insights into actionable content ideas;
  • Proof, edit, and review content for Verified First;

  • Encourage a direct and positive relationship between the team and the company;
  • Able to maintain regular and punctual attendance;
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • Able to quickly learn new software and use systems accurately;
  • You are a natural problem solver and are focused on creating solutions;
  • You can adapt quickly to a changing environment;
  • You work well independently but understand the importance of teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred;
  • 2+ years of experience in Marketing focused on content curation and reporting;
  • Solid understanding of SEO and how to develop content for both readers and search engines required;
  • Professional writing and editorial experience required;
  • Professional design experience required;
  • Experience with Google Suite platform and AI tools such as Gemini and Claude preferred;
  • Pardot or email automation experience preferred.

What we bring:
  • Work-life balance: Enjoy your free time with no nights or weekends, paid holidays, and paid time off starting on your first day;
  • Health: Save money on insurance with 100% employer-paid insurance premiums;
  • Growth: Continue to learn with continuous education, career pathing, and ongoing training. You won't stall here, growth is part of our success;
  • Outstanding Culture: In our remote work environment, we prioritize team-building through engaging meetings and events, including town halls, Office Olympics, and culture conversations. These activities are vital for strengthening our connections and embodying our company values.

What are the next steps?
