The Medical Director Clinical Informatics will lead and develop innovative approaches to clinical decision support (CDS) content authoring in support of electronic health record (EHR) embedded applications. This role will primarily be responsible for deeply understanding and translating clinical practice guidelines from their native narrative form into structured logic representations that faithfully interprets and disambiguates the guidelines. This work will be done with attention to detail and incorporate adherence to clinical ontologies/terminologies, information model and interoperability standards. The role will work collaboratively with our technical teams on transforming the structured logic into executable content, maintenance and QA of the content. In addition, this role will serve as a thought leader in helping to optimize our content development pipeline including thoughtfully incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the process.
