About the Role:
We are seeking a Multifamily and Commercial Construction Estimator with experience in ground-up projects to join our client' team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for large-scale multifamily developments. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost structures, with a proven track record in estimating ground-up multifamily projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare comprehensive estimates for ground-up multifamily projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
Review architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and bid documents to ensure accuracy.
Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
Work closely with project managers, developers, and architects to align budgets with project goals.
Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize costs without sacrificing quality.
Analyze historical cost data and market trends to refine pricing models.
Assist in pre-construction planning and project feasibility assessments.
Qualifications:
* Experience: 3 years of estimating experience in ground-up multifamily construction.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and industry pricing.
Proficiency in estimating software
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
