Job description

The Project Scheduler will create, maintain and update schedules for the self-performed MEP trades of construction projects. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a working knowledge of MEP trades (mechanical, plumbing, HVAC/R and electrical). The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, site supervision, and subcontractors to develop and update accurate schedules.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, with a significant focus on MEP trades
  • Collaborate with project managers, site supervision, and subcontractors to establish timelines
  • Monitor and update project progress
  • Implement scheduling strategies to mitigate conflicts and delays
  • Communicate schedule updates and changes to all stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with project deadlines and client expectations
  • Utilize scheduling software to track and report on project timelines
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
