This position offers you the flexibility of a fully remote work setting while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals at our detox center. You will have access to a range of digital platforms designed to facilitate communication, case management, and data tracking. As you provide critical care to individuals in need, you will also participate in ongoing evaluations and virtual meetings to ensure continuity and cohesion in care delivery.

• Conduct regular psychotherapy sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques suitable for clients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of client needs, including the use of established psychological tests and diagnostic tools to inform treatment plans.
• Collaborate with clients to set realistic therapy goals, regularly reviewing and adjusting treatment plans to meet their progress and changing needs.
• Deliver crisis intervention services during acute episodes, which may involve assessing risk for self-harm or facilitating urgent hospitalizations.
• Engage with other healthcare providers and specialists to create a coordinated care approach, ensuring clients receive holistic support throughout their recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA standards and organizational policies.
• Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures aimed at enhancing service quality and operational efficiency.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities to continuously enhance your clinical skills and knowledge of current best practices.

In this role, you will primarily work with adult clients suffering from substance use disorders and related mental health conditions. Your expertise will empower clients from various backgrounds and life experiences to navigate challenges, fostering resilience and recovery through individualized treatment approaches. Your emphasis on understanding the unique factors impacting their lives will enhance therapeutic relationships and promote effective outcomes.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active LCSW license in the state of Kansas is essential for this position.
• At least two years of direct clinical experience providing mental health services, particularly in settings addressing substance use and related mental health issues.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities relevant to psychological and substance use disorders.
• Ability to adapt therapeutic methods to meet the needs of a diverse client population, demonstrating cultural competence and empathy.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on clear and compassionate dialogue with clients and colleagues.

• Experience working in a detox center or similar treatment facility is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with state-specific regulations and legislation related to mental health and substance use treatment.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions and treatment plans.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience, particularly in a clinical setting, will be beneficial.
