POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

Q CELLS Home Energy Solutions seeks a Construction Manager to monitor and control projects through administrative and specialized expertise with the Home Energy System division. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for working within and leading support teams in coordination with the Customer Advocates and 3rd party service providers.  Major responsibilities include locating, onboarding and management of paperwork for 3rd party construction service providers, input and management of required hand off documents into the Operations Lifecycle Platform, verification of quality & scope sign off for work performed, issuing timely and accurate payment requests to third party fulfillment vendors & weekly pipeline reviews for 3rd party work completed. This is a key position with the responsibility for building and scaling the solar support operations to match the growth of the business. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with strong analytical skills, great attention to detail, and problem solving and communication skills.

This position will be based out of one of our offices in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Teaneck, NJ, with a potential in-office schedule set at the direct manager’s discretion in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Remote work may be considered for exceptional cases. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Ensure sales contracts are 100% complete and accurate before issuing them to operations personnel.
  • Manage Quality of Construction and adherence to Scope of work
  • Issue work orders to 3rd party service providers.
  • Issue and approve work orders from third party fulfillment vendors to provide accurate services with prompt payments.
  • Identifies and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Review operational procedures and ensure conformance to industry best-practices.
  • Analyze and monitor team performance to iteratively improve upon cycle times.
  • Update CRM, Fulfillment portal, third party financier portals and various other business tools.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field with a minimum of 8+ years' work experience in project management with 3+ years’ work experience in Field Operations and Operations Management related to solar and storage in new home communities. 
  • Ability to read solar plan sets.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Ability to exercise strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent leadership, team development, people management.
  • Detailed analytical thinker with ability to recruit and lead quantitative talent.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present credit management, vision and strategy in internal and external forums.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-growth environment.
  • Process driven while finding long-term solutions.
