As part of our virtual team, you will collaborate with other mental health professionals to discuss cases and share best practices, ensuring comprehensive care for our clients.

• Conduct regular virtual sessions with families and individuals to analyze behavioral patterns and relational dynamics.
• Develop tailored therapeutic interventions aimed at addressing specific concerns within families, ensuring each approach is culturally sensitive.
• Guide clients in understanding how their behaviors and communication styles can impact familial relationships and emotional health.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic strategies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and systemic therapy methods, to foster actionable solutions for clients.
• Support families in processing grief, resolving conflicts, and enhancing their children's educational experiences through direct involvement and community resources.

The patients you will work with include families of varying compositions, couples experiencing conflict, and individuals seeking to improve their family dynamics. In your role, you will be particularly focused on helping clients navigate issues such as communication barriers, parenting challenges, and emotional distress stemming from life transitions. Your empathetic approach will allow you to connect with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and with unique situations.

• A Master’s degree in Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Active and valid state-mandated licenses to practice as a marriage and family therapist.
• Strong foundational knowledge in family systems theory and therapeutic techniques specific to relational therapy.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with clients compassionately and effectively, with superior communication skills.

• Previous hands-on experience as a marriage or family therapist, preferably in a community health or similar setting.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital consultation methodologies.
• Experience with specific populations, such as LGBTQ+ families or families affected by trauma, is a plus.
