Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients via teletherapy software tailored for remote interactions, ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, engaging clients through secure video consultations to provide empathic support and guidance.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in regular team meetings via conference calls or web platforms to discuss individual client progress, share insights, and strategize next steps for effective treatment.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, such as workshops and training, to stay current with best practices in teletherapy and digital counseling techniques.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance our therapy programs and contribute to the effectiveness of our virtual counseling services while ensuring adherence to telehealth regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position demands a commitment to provide support to a diverse patient population that may include children, adults, and families dealing with a range of mental health challenges. Clients may be facing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship problems, or trauma, and will rely on you to help them navigate their mental health journeys with sensitivity and expertise.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must hold an active and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Demonstrated experience practicing independently without supervision is essential.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong emphasis on communication, empathy, and the ability to connect with clients remotely.
• Proficient computer skills to effectively utilize digital platforms for counseling and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in teletherapeutic settings or remote counseling is preferred, as it can enhance the ability to navigate challenges unique to virtual therapy.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and the ability to adapt techniques for online delivery will be considered an asset.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth compliance standards is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary range for this position is between USD 52,000 and 70,000 annually, based on experience and hours worked.
