Your role:
The CAD / CMMS Systems Operator is responsible for updating and / or creating detailed drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role will also interact with FSI's leading Healthcare CMMS application to support processes for FSI's suite floor plan driven software modules.
Your responsibilities:
  • Develop and revise detailed CAD drawings based on sketches and verbal instructions.
  • Collaborate with Manager and Implementation Project Managers to ensure drawings meet project requirements and standards.
  • Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for ongoing and completed projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and applicable codes.
  • Perform quality checks on drawings to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
  • Learn and work in the CMMS system and modules, CMS View and Space Manager, to understand processes.
  • Using internal tools to run processes that create final products for the projects.
  • Working with PDF's, DXF's to load in our internal tools for the CMS View and Space Manager final product.
  • May travel for onsite surveys.
  • Professional and customer service focus
  • Strong communication skills with Management, Team Lead and team members.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2026 software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Familiarity of Revit
  • Some knowledge of AI, CoPilot, ChatGPT
  • Knowledge of project management software or document control systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or certification in Drafting, CAD Technology, or relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and conventions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering and architectural plans.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Location:
This is a remote position with occasional site visits depending on project needs.
Compensation:
Compensation for this role will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, and work location. The expected salary range is $50,000 to $60,000.
