Garden Path Counseling is recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team, primarily serving a Detox Center. As a full-time LCSW, you will play a critical role in providing mental health support to individuals facing substance use challenges and co-occurring disorders. This remote position allows for flexible working conditions, enabling you to perform therapy sessions from a home environment or a location that suits your schedule. The Detox Center setting is dynamic, focusing on providing immediate emotional and psychological care to clients undergoing detoxification. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, psychiatrists, and wellness coaches, to ensure a comprehensive treatment plan tailored for each client.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of clients undergoing detoxification.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate recovery, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.
• Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate care, attend interdisciplinary meetings, and actively participate in case management.
• Monitor and assess the emotional and psychological state of clients, implementing crisis interventions as needed.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities, maintaining awareness of the latest therapeutic techniques and best practices.

The primary focus of your practice will be on adults and adolescents dealing with substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and all related behavioral health issues. You will work closely with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring disorders, providing empathetic support and tailored therapeutic interventions to promote their recovery journey.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.
• An active and current LCSW license in Pennsylvania is mandatory.
• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health or substance use treatment setting.
• Proficiency in medical documentation and the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Familiarity with outpatient mental health therapies and practices.
• Experience with crisis intervention and management techniques.
• Specialization or experience working with children and adolescents is a plus.
• Knowledge of gender issues and counseling techniques pertinent to diverse populations.
