• Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients via secure video chat, focusing on enhancing mental health and emotional wellbeing.
• Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to explore their emotions and experiences, fostering a deeper insight into their relationships and personal challenges.
• Advocate for clients by collaboratively defining their goals and aligning treatment plans with their unique circumstances and needs.
• Evaluate and assess clients' mental health conditions to develop and implement effective treatment plans using evidence-based, solution-focused approaches.

The patients you will work with are prescreened to ensure they are stable and have low acuity. This focus allows you to concentrate on therapeutic best practices without the pressure of crisis management. You'll engage with diverse clients who may benefit from various therapeutic modalities, and we emphasize our goal to match therapists with clients whose demographics and challenges align with their specialties.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• A current independent license (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW) issued by the state board is mandatory; provisional licenses will not be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to perform professional evaluations, make clinical decisions, and develop treatment plans.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to client interactions.
• Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

While not mandatory, experience in a counseling role, particularly with client populations experiencing low to moderate acuity issues, will be considered an asset. Proficiency in specific therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, or narrative therapy, will enhance your ability to connect effectively with clients.
