Job Title : IAM Engineer
Location : 100% remote
Duration : 12 Months contract
Job description :
Client is seeking an IAM Engineer to support the architecture, implementation and operations of enterprise level identity and access management. This role will focus on the ongoing development of Client's advanced Identity Management infrastructure, with secondary responsibilities including the deployment of new application authentication and migration of existing on-premise application authentication to the Azure platform.
Duties will include:
• Helping design, plan, implement and support strategic initiatives in Identity & Access Management for use by its employees and external partners.
• Participate in requirements gathering sessions, support development of well-defined statements of work and specification documents, and support driving projects to successful deployment by leveraging internal resources.
• Development of new Identity Management capabilities.
• Provision IAM services for new and migrated applications to the Azure platform as required.
• Design and implement policy-based access control for identified roles.
• Identify and implement cloud-based identity and access management tools that augment or replace current on-premise capabilities.
Basic Qualifications:
• Recognized degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited college or university, or specialized courses in networking, information technology, server administration and infrastructure operations, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 9+ years of overall Industry experience 2+ years of experience with implementation and administration of industry leading identity management solutions like One Identity, Sailpoint or other Identity Management products 2+ years modern authentication mechanisms like SAML, Oauth 2.0, Open ID Connect.
• 1+ year experience in implementing Authentication and Authorization with Azure PaaS and generic SaaS services.
Additional Information:
• Required Skills Expert - Identity Management Administration (solution agnostic); Access Management (PING, Forgerock, Azure)
• Basic - Active Directory Administration (Users, Groups, DL's)
• Basic - OS/Network Troubleshooting Strong Technical Documentation Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across the organization.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Motivated self-starter who can perform with minimal supervision. Desirable Skills Intermediate/Advanced - PowerShell Scripting/python scripting, Debugging
