In your role, you will:

• Provide individualized counseling sessions via secure video chat to assess and improve clients' mental health.
• Encourage clients to express their emotions and life experiences, guiding them toward greater self-understanding and relational insights.
• Act as a strong advocate for clients, helping them articulate their goals and aspirations.
• Evaluate client mental health conditions and design personalized treatment plans based on a solution-focused approach and your clinical expertise.

Your work primarily involves engaging with prescreened, stable clients with low acuity mental health needs, ensuring that you focus your skills on helping individuals who are not in crisis. To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent license in one of the following areas, issued by the state board (limited/provisional licenses are not acceptable):
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• The ability to make informed evaluations, decisions, and recommendations pertaining to treatment planning and implementation.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and empathetic demeanor toward clients.
• Strong computer literacy skills to efficiently navigate online counseling tools and administrative portals.
