  • Organize and deliver psychoeducational workshops and support groups that tackle common mental health concerns, providing both education and community support to participants.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care and treatment continuity.
  • Provide crisis intervention to individuals facing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring they receive immediate support and appropriate follow-up care.
  • Educate clients and their families on various mental health conditions, treatment alternatives, and available community resources to empower informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records compliant with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to share insights and promote a culture of professional development within the practice.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mental health treatment through ongoing training and self-directed learning.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role centers on serving a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and families grappling with a variety of mental health challenges. Our therapists are dedicated to providing culturally competent care, adapting their approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual and fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid California licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
  • A firm understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and the ability to form effective therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrated experience with individual and group therapy, emphasizing evidence-based techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and the capacity for sound judgment in ethical decision-making.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technological applications.
  • A collaborative mindset ready to work alongside a diverse team of professionals in delivering holistic patient care.
Preferred Experience
