Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Growth Executive to lead strategic expansion across critical infrastructure markets, including aviation, transportation, and national infrastructure modernization. The role will drive strategy for our $500M annual revenue Critical Infrastructure market, cultivate executive client relationships, and lead high-value pursuits that position SAIC as a premier integrator of complex infrastructure systems.

This position partners tightly with the Critical Infrastructure Market Leader (P&L owner) and serves as the senior growth counterpart, driving market facing strategy, customer engagement, capturing orchestration, and competitive positioning. The Growth Executive will bring a strong understanding of FAA modernization priorities, DOT operating components, and acquisition pathways, translating mission needs into winnable pursuits.

DOE will be treated as a secondary adjacency, pursued selectively based on winnable positioning and existing relationships, without diluting DOT and FAA focus.

Key Responsibilities-

The successful candidate will:

  • Own and execute the Critical Infrastructure growth strategy with a DOT and FAA first mindset, aligned to annual bookings targets and multi-year market expansion
  • Build, shape, and manage a dynamic pipeline centered on DOT, with deep emphasis on FAA, spanning early shaping through award
  • Lead and orchestrate capture for major DOT and FAA pursuits, aligning customer needs, solution strategy, price to win, teaming, and executive engagement
  • Maintain a strong operational rhythm across pipeline hygiene, qualification discipline, and timely gate movement, ensuring predictable execution across priority pursuits
  • Build and sustain senior customer relationships across FAA and DOT leadership, establishing SAIC as a trusted mission partner through consistent engagement and value delivery
  • Drive competitive intelligence and market sensing across FAA modernization programs, contract vehicles, and upcoming procurements, converting insight into pursuit action plans
  • Partner across SAIC (solutions, operations, pricing, contracts, legal, corporate growth) to assemble differentiated offers and improve probability of winning
  • Build and manage a partner ecosystem aligned to DOT and FAA needs, including OEMs, niche innovators, and small business teammates to strengthen access and competitiveness
  • Pursue DOE opportunities selectively as a secondary adjacency, prioritizing only those that align with DOT and FAA momentum, and do not distract from core growth execution

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree, with an additional 17 years of related experience
  • 10 plus years of business development, capture, and growth leadership in federal civilian markets, with strong depth in DOT and FAA
  • Demonstrated success by winning complex prime contracts, typically 50M plus, including large scale integration services, mission IT, systems engineering, and modernization programs
  • Strong understanding of FAA and DOT acquisition practices, contract vehicles, and buying behaviors, including early shaping and capture planning
  • Proven ability to lead cross functional teams in a matrix environment, driving accountability, speed, and disciplined execution
  • Executive presence and strong communication skills, comfortable engaging senior government leaders and internal executives
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Established relationships and credibility within FAA and DOT, including program, technical, and acquisition stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience driving growth in FAA modernization domains (air traffic systems, NAS modernization, automation, engineering services, cyber, cloud, data)
  • Track record of building high performing capture teams and improving win rate through repeatable growth operating rhythm
  • DOE familiarity is a plus, but not required, and will be treated as secondary

Target salary range: $240,001 - $280,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
