This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience while delivering therapy. Our organization operates from Monday through Saturday, empowering clinicians to create a schedule that fits their lifestyle while ensuring our patients receive dedicated care. We provide the necessary tools and support for your success, including in-house credentialing assistance, management of insurance participation, and appointment scheduling. Collaboration within our team is encouraged, and regular meetings keep all staff aligned with patient care objectives.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Safe Harbor, you will take the lead in providing exceptional therapy and support services. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments of clients, including individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, to identify their unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other clinical interventions, to guide patients in achieving their mental health goals.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create and modify comprehensive care plans for patients, effectively discussing treatment progress and strategies during team meetings.
• Managing a caseload of patients, providing regular case management and consultation with community professionals to ensure continuity and comprehensiveness of care.
• Documenting assessments, treatment processes, and patient progress in a timely and ethical manner to meet department standards.

You will primarily serve a diverse population within the community, offering vital mental health services to patients from varying backgrounds and age groups. Our clients often struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues, requiring a therapist who is empathetic and skilled at tailoring interventions to fit each individual's needs.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid state license as either a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing counseling in an outpatient setting.

While the minimum experience required is two years in a clinical setting, we prefer candidates who have:

• Experience working with a variety of therapeutic modalities beyond CBT.
• A deep understanding of mental health assessments and treatment planning processes.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology since this role is remote.
