Job description

The Senior Manager, Compensation will serve as a strategic architect of our total rewards framework, responsible for designing and operationalizing innovative, company-wide compensation strategies. Reporting to the VP People, you will partner with senior leadership to manage complex incentive programs, executive compensation, and a scalable job architecture that supports our national growth. This role isn't just about managing spreadsheets; it's about ensuring the company's pay philosophy attracts top talent.
Primary Duties:
  • Design and operationalize innovative company-wide, national compensation strategy and programs; partner with People leadership and external compensation consultants on the strategy, design, and implementation of executive compensation programs.
  • Manage the end-to-end annual merit increase, bonus distribution, and equity grant processes.
  • Partner with business leaders to advise on and manage incentive compensation programs.
  • Manage a foundational and scalable job architecture structure including leveling, benchmarking and supporting our company-wide budgeting and forecasting.
  • Provide support and consultation of all compensation to leaders across Aledade.
  • Lead regular audits to ensure internal equity and compliance with evolving transparency laws. 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant total rewards experience, including responsibility for managing geographically distributed teams.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) and AI-driven data analysis platforms to automate routine compensation tasks, accelerate proforma modeling, and audit large datasets for equity compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead the change management and communication strategy for major compensation transformations, ensuring clear, empathetic, and effective employee understanding and adoption.
  • Strategic thinker for how to utilize systems and optimize processes for best practices; expertise in financial modeling and data visualization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead discussions with senior business leaders.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, project management and operational chops.
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS systems and compensation software.
  • Experience with Equity ISO, RSUs, Stock Options 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
