Job description

Operating under general direction, this role is accountable for performing technical and data analysis related to portfolio management requirements of the team. This role will have involvement with prospective reinsurance, capital management and driving our mission of understanding risk and creating value. This role supports the Director of Portfolio Management in developments of opinions based on analyses performed.

What You Do Evaluate market trends and technical aspects for P&C business with specific focus on prospective reinsurance. Support maintenance of internal actuarial and underwriting tools. Manage the data, create PowerPoint decks, present to senior leadership and maintain ongoing data accuracy.

Partner Coordination Drive alignment of Capital and Accounting treatment with finance. Coordinate technical analysis within global underwriting function. Utilize artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g.

generative AI). What You Bring 6-7 years of experience required: Insurance/Reinsurance related companies, particularly in an underwriting, finance or transaction-related role. Four-year degree required; Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Engineering or equivalent relevant work experience.

Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required. You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g.

H1-B, L-1, TN, etc). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship. Location: New York area preferred but open to remote.

Compensation: Job posting range $140,200.00 - $210,400.00. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. Final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education, and internal equity.
