Sr. Implementation Manager - Fintech (Dublin, CA or USA Remote)

The Senior Implementation Manager is client-facing and leads the end-to-end delivery of SavvyMoney\'s Lending and Deposit product implementations for our financial institution Partners. From post-sale kickoff through go-live, this role is the primary point of accountability, translating Partner business goals into configured, integrated, and tested solutions across a complex ecosystem of core banking systems, digital banking Strategic Partners, credit bureaus, and ancillary vendors.

Key responsibilities include:

Project Lifecycle Management

  • Drive decisions, escalations, and accountability across internal and Partner teams. Own end-to-end delivery of Lending and Deposit implementations, averaging four months from kickoff through go-live, with two to three concurrent Partner projects.

  • Maintain project plans, risk logs, and status reporting for internal leadership and Partner stakeholders.

Partner Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Partner executives, product owners, compliance leads, and technical resources.

  • Lead discovery, requirements workshops, configuration reviews, and go-live readiness checkpoints.

  • Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs in terms that resonate with both business and technical audiences.

Technical Delivery and Integrations

  • Learn each Partner\'s technology stack, including core banking, loan origination, digital banking, credit bureaus, and identity and fraud vendors.

  • Coordinate integrations with Strategic Partners and third-party providers, managing dependencies, credentials, and testing windows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Own clean handoffs from Sales into delivery and from delivery into post-launch support.

  • Surface Partner feedback to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities.

  • Contribute to playbooks, templates, and process improvements that strengthen the Operations function.

  • Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 5+ years in client-facing implementation, project management, or technical account management, preferably in fintech, banking technology, or enterprise SaaS serving financial institutions.

  • Domain Expertise: Working knowledge of lending (consumer, auto, credit card, personal loan) and deposit (checking, savings, CD, money market) products and the systems behind them.

  • Technical Skills: Comfort with REST/JSON APIs, file-based integrations, data mappings, and configuration specs. Experience coordinating integrations across core banking, LOS, digital banking, or CRM platforms.

  • Tools and Platforms:

    • Atlassian (Jira and Confluence) for ticket tracking, project management, and documentation.

    • Smartsheet for project plans, dashboards, and executive reporting.

    • AI tools such as Claude to accelerate documentation, communications, and analysis. Curiosity about applying AI to improve delivery is strongly valued.

  • Soft Skills: Direct, results-oriented communicator with strong ownership, sound judgment under incomplete information, and the ability to adapt across executive, technical, and operational audiences.

  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Base salary

The annual base salary for this position is $105,000.00 and $125,000.00 based on experience and geography + Quarterly Bonus Potential
