• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of clients.
• Assess and diagnose clients utilizing the DSM V diagnostic criteria, ensuring appropriate treatment plans are developed and implemented.
• Facilitate psycho-educational groups and classes, covering various topics such as parenting skills, coping mechanisms, and emotional regulation, to support client growth.
• Complete comprehensive documentation of client interactions, including treatment plans, progress notes, and statistical reports, adhering to organizational and contractual guidelines.
• Engage in billing practices to fulfill contractual obligations, maintaining a determined number of reimbursable hours.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse range of clients, primarily focusing on children and families within the community. Our client base includes individuals facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues, many of whom require specialized support to navigate their circumstances effectively. Reflections Counseling Clinic prioritizes culturally competent care, tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a relevant clinical setting.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach towards meeting billing and documentation requirements.

While a minimum of 3 years of experience is required, candidates with experience in working with children and families, as well as those familiar with community health settings, are preferred. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation systems will also be advantageous in this remote role.
