This position is structured as a remote role, allowing you the flexibility to balance your professional responsibilities with your personal needs while working for a community health clinic dedicated to trauma recovery. Your work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient schedules. • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories, specifically their trauma experiences, to establish appropriate treatment approaches.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coordinating care for each individual patient.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring that treatment aligns with current best practices.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process trauma, build coping strategies, and foster a supportive community atmosphere.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to create integrated care plans that enhance patient outcomes.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, assisting patients in navigating through acute distress.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure compliance and facilitate effective treatment tracking.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions focused on enhancing trauma-informed care methodologies.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to incorporate new techniques and strategies into practice.

The primary focus of our services is individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. You will work with diverse clients, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. Our clinic aims to create a safe and accessible space where patients can express their concerns and challenges openly, facilitated by your guiding presence and therapeutic expertise.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to provide trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment approaches.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate a compassionate, non-judgmental rapport with clients.
• The capability to remain calm and composed under high-stress situations encountered with clients in crisis.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications necessary for documentation and communication.
• A collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team structure.

While two years of post-licensure experience is a baseline, candidates with 3-5 years of experience in trauma-informed care, especially those familiar with various evidence-based interventions, will be highly regarded. Experience involving clients from diverse backgrounds and with varied social identities is also beneficial.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
