• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based methodologies to address varied mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
• Perform comprehensive assessments that guide the development of personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving client-specific goals.
• Provide supportive counseling, crisis intervention, and psychoeducation to clients and their families, helping them navigate life's challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care and improve client health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in line with ethical and legal standards, ensuring adherence to best practices in clinical documentation.
• Stay current with the latest research, trends, and best practices in mental health counseling, integrating new knowledge into your practice.
• Engage in regular clinical supervision and participate in professional development activities to enhance your skills and impact.

• A Master's Degree in Counseling or a related field is required to demonstrate a strong foundation in psychological theories and practices.
• An active and independent LPC license from the state board is essential for practicing in Pennsylvania.
• Proven ability to maintain clinical records and prepare comprehensive reports that reflect your assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team setting to enhance client care.
• Strong communication skills that foster effective dialogue with clients and colleagues alike.

• Experience providing counseling services to veterans or individuals with military backgrounds is highly advantageous.

• Previous engagement in professional development and continuing education activities will be considered positively.
