• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that include pre-crisis strategies, crisis intervention plans, and medication treatment plans.
• Document patient information accurately and punctually, adhering to all regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as deemed appropriate by the clinical team, ensuring that care is grounded in proven methodologies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to individual needs.
• Actively engage in all licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the quality and integrity of our services.
• Serve as a liaison to service systems, state agencies, and community partners, facilitating effective client referrals and resource networking.
• Establish strong relationships with community organizations and agencies to promote program visibility and secure potential partnerships and funding opportunities.
• Champion personal and professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and participating in statewide committees relevant to behavioral health.
• Embody and promote the mission and values of Genesis Health Clinic in every aspect of service delivery.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to ensure smooth operational flow.

The LMHC will primarily work with a diverse group of clients facing various mental health challenges, including individuals recovering from substance use disorders, those living with developmental disabilities, and clients with acquired brain injuries. Your role will significantly impact their journey to recovery by providing expert guidance, therapeutic support, and vital community resources.

• A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• An independent LMHC license issued by the state board is essential to practice.
• Proven ability to maintain clinical records methodically and prepare related documentation.
• Exceptionally skilled in collaborative work within an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express complex ideas effectively.
• Sound judgment and the ability to make informed independent decisions based on professional expertise.

• Experience with evidence-based practices in mental health treatment, particularly in community health settings.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and mental health recovery frameworks.
• Previous experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including community organizations and government agencies.
