Position Overview

Genesis Health Clinic is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team. This full-time remote position offers a salary range of USD 86,000 to 103,000 annually, and a generous hire-on bonus is available for qualified candidates. As an LMHC, your primary responsibility will be to help individuals foster emotional well-being and recovery through compassionate, evidence-based treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop client-specific treatment plans, including crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, and medication management plans.
• Ensure all documentation is completed promptly and adheres to regulatory requirements.
• Utilize and implement evidence-based screening tools, under the guidance of the clinical team, to effectively meet client needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute positive behavior support and treatment plans tailored to individual clients.
• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the highest standards of care and compliance.
• Facilitate communication between clients, service systems, state agencies, and community partners to ensure effective service delivery.
• Build and sustain relationships with local and state agencies and organizations to promote our programs and identify new partnerships and funding opportunities.
• Pursue continuous professional development through attending conferences, training, and community meetings relevant to your area of expertise.
• Promote the mission, values, and principles of Genesis Health Clinic in every aspect of your work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to adapt to the evolving needs of our clients and organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Genesis Health Clinic, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injuries. Your role will encompass providing compassionate and informed support that empowers clients to navigate their unique challenges and achieve personal wellness goals.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Possession of an independent LMHC license from the state board.
• Demonstrated ability to manage clinical records and prepare accurate reports that reflect effective treatment interventions.
• Strong collaboration skills in an interdisciplinary team setting to ensure holistic treatment for clients.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and treatment plans to clients and colleagues.
• Sound judgment and the capacity to make independent decisions based on clinical expertise.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in community health or a similar clinical setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methodologies and assessment tools.
• Experience with various treatment modalities and a background in crisis intervention.
