Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans incorporating feedback from clients and stakeholders to address their specific needs.
  • Create and implement pre-crisis and crisis plans, including behavioral assessments, medication treatment plans, and positive behavior support plans.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed punctually and aligns with regulatory standards, maintaining the integrity of case records.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools as advised by the clinical team to enhance the accuracy of assessments and treatment decisions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.
  • Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the highest quality of care within our clinic.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with community partners, state agencies, and relevant service systems to enhance service delivery.
  • Promote our agencyโ€™s mission and values within the community, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills through workshops, conferences, and community involvement.
  • Contribute to a supportive team environment by participating in regular meetings and sharing insights for program improvement.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population, including individuals dealing with mental health issues, substance use recovery, developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injury. You will engage with clients who have unique life experiences and challenges, requiring a tailored and client-centered approach to care. Your role will directly influence their recovery journey, guiding them towards independence and community engagement.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in a mental health field such as Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline is required.
  • A valid Independent LMHC License is mandatory to practice in the state of Florida. We will assist with licensing costs if currently licensed in another state.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community health or clinical setting strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and assessments is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community organizations.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
