As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Providing clinical services through the development and implementation of individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Conducting thorough and ongoing assessments to continuously identify treatment needs and adjust care strategies accordingly.
• Facilitating the creation and execution of individual service plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring they have a roadmap for their recovery journey.
• Engaging clients in skill-building activities focusing on coping strategies, problem-solving techniques, and effective communication skills.
• Educating clients about available community resources and advocating for their access to essential services that support their mental health.

Your client base will primarily include adults aged 18 and older, many of whom face significant challenges in maintaining stability due to various mental health issues. As a mental health specialist, you will address a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. Your commitment to a recovery-based approach will empower clients to regain their confidence and live independently.

To be eligible for this role, you should possess:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid state license in one of the following fields: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
• The ability to practice independently, demonstrating strong decision-making skills.
• Clean disciplinary history concerning your license.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing you to engage empathetically and effectively with clients and their families.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for documentation and communication.
• A reliable internet connection to facilitate remote service delivery.
