• Conduct comprehensive preliminary evaluations to assess clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health, documenting findings meticulously from initial consultation through treatment completion.
• Craft tailored intervention and recovery plans for a variety of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring strategies align with evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that foster healing and empowerment, utilizing therapeutic techniques that resonate with diverse backgrounds and needs.
• Continuously monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving needs and goals.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical practitioners to coordinate comprehensive care solutions for clients.
• Maintain open communication with hospital personnel regarding any necessary follow-ups on clients requiring inpatient care.
• Identify potential barriers to recovery and proactively implement strategies to mitigate these obstacles, ensuring clients develop the skills to overcome challenges.
• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers, helping them address any mental health-related challenges they may face.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Proven track record of experience as a mental health counselor in diverse settings.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for managing client data effectively.
• Experience working with clients dealing with both psychological and physical health challenges, including an understanding of addiction disorders.
• Knowledge of the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• An in-depth comprehension of the ramifications of prescribed medications on mental health.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills that promote rapport with clients.
