As a fully remote position, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your surroundings while still being a vital part of our healthcare team. Although primarily remote, you will occasionally engage in telehealth sessions to provide direct support to clients.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, evaluating clients' histories, presenting issues, and risk factors to tailor individual treatment plans.
• Design and execute personalized treatment interventions that focus on promoting emotional stability and overall mental wellness throughout the detox process.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, to guide clients toward recovery.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing telehealth platforms, creating an environment for personal growth and effective coping strategies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic care plans that address both mental health and substance use concerns.
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary, assessing situations promptly and making referrals for additional care when individuals require higher levels of support.
• Maintain meticulous documentation regarding assessments, treatment plans, and client progress in accordance with all ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in continuous education to remain informed of best practices and emerging trends in mental health and substance recovery treatments.

Your work will primarily serve clients at our detox center, who are navigating the complexities of substance use disorders. This diverse population may include individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds, and many may also be dealing with co-occurring mental health disorders. Your role is to ensure that each client feels heard, understood, and empowered to embark on their recovery journey.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited educational institution.
• A valid and active LCSW license in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly in mental health or substance abuse settings.
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and trauma-informed practices.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Experience providing both individual and group therapy, applying a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent crisis intervention skills and the capacity to maintain composure under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and reporting procedures.

• Experience working specifically with individuals in detoxification or addiction recovery environments.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy methodologies.
• Knowledge of local mental health resources and support systems that are beneficial for clients.
