We’re expanding our college admissions team and are in need of incredible college admissions counselors who are driven to see their students succeed. Choosing a college is a big decision/investment and it's imperative to provide our families with all of the support they need. We provide a boutique, focused, and personalized experience for our clients. We help our students craft their own story to showcase their unique qualities.

Our admissions team creates a playbook for our families that covers every step of the application process to help ensure each student is accepted to their top ranked colleges. We put a plan is in place that is focused on meeting goals, and submitting an application that pops! Our CP Coaches will review curriculums, internship options, key extracurricular activities, as well as Early Decision (ED), Restrictive Early Action (REA), Early Application (EA), and Regular Decision (RD) strategies. In return, our instructors are rewarded for all of their efforts, with top-notch compensation, performance based bonuses and tremendous growth opportunities. This is a contractual/supplemental income opportunity where counselor's have the flexibility to create their own schedules and hours that work for them.



Requirements

A minimum of five years working as an admissions officer/reader at a selective college including but not limited to experience as a high school counselor, independent counselor, or college counseling professional in a business setting

A thorough understanding of the high school curriculum, AP, IB, all standardized tests including the ACT, SAT, and other standardized tests

Experience working with students 7th -12th grade, transfer applications, and private/boarding school applicants

Proven track record of student success with all different types of academic programs, including specializations, direct med, engineering, etc...

Successful methods with how to differentiate a students application and build an incredible portfolio

Experience with athletic recruitment and other specialized endeavors.

Excellent writer and understanding of the current admissions landscape

Fun, knowledgeable, a motivator, and team builder

Expertise with the differences between public, private, charter,and boarding school environments

Expert knowledge of Naviance, Scoir, and other college admissions software

Expertise with all application platforms (Common App, Coalition App, Apply Texas, and school specific applications)

Thorough knowledge of the college process, different types of schools, resources, and environments

A proven track record with placing students in selective colleges, prestigious high school internships and other extra curricular activities

In-depth knowledge with the financial aid process, scholarship options, and other aid.

Ability to create individualized plans for high school students with course selection, academic interest exploration, extracurricular activities and summer programs

Familiarity with the academic and social demands of the high school culture and the competitive college admissions landscape

Conduct ongoing research on school profiles, course catalogs and academic programs to provide well-informed responses to individual student’s needs

Knowledge with academic programs and contests such as DECA, Science/Math Olympiads, AMC math competitions, Science Fairs, STEM competitions, etc.

A leader with great communication,organization, and writing skills to guide families and mentor students through the entire admissions process

Creative, driven, with endless energy to build life skills, self-esteem, and confidence through positive reinforcement

Proficient with using technology
