Position Overview

Solaris Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our committed team in a remote, full-time capacity. This role is integral to our mission of providing comprehensive mental health services in the community, designed to enhance the well-being of adults, children, and families. If you are passionate about supporting individuals in their mental health journeys and thrive within a collaborative environment, we invite you to explore this opportunity.

About the Organization

Solaris Behavioral Health Center is a leading private outpatient mental health practice located in Atlanta, Georgia. We prioritize the delivery of high-quality mental health services and aim to create a supportive, welcoming environment for our clients. Our team encompasses a diverse range of professionals who collaborate to provide innovative therapeutic methods. Our practice operates with a commitment to excellence in patient care, promoting ethical conduct, respect, and compassion within a community-oriented framework.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, making it easier for our counselors to maintain a healthy work-life balance. As part of your role, you will be provided with the necessary technology and resources to effectively engage with clients and manage your administrative responsibilities. At Solaris, we believe that the well-being of our staff is paramount, and we foster a culture where clinicians are encouraged to innovate and thrive within the mental health field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a manageable caseload of clients, demonstrating a strong ability to establish rapport and develop therapeutic relationships while upholding professional ethics.
  • Conduct regular sessions with clients to monitor their progress, assess their stability, and discuss any necessary adjustments to their treatment plans.
  • Formulate person-centered treatment plans that cater to the individual needs of each client, ensuring that their mental health goals are clearly defined and achievable.
  • Diligently maintain up-to-date client documentation and progress notes, complying with best practice standards and legal requirements.
  • Perform intake assessments to gauge potential clients' needs and suitability for our services, ensuring a thorough understanding of their backgrounds and concerns.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of adults, children, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our outpatient clinic offers an inclusive environment that caters to individuals from different backgrounds, providing culturally competent care tailored to their unique circumstances. Your role will involve employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to guide clients towards a path of healing and stability.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.
  • Current, unrestricted Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
  • At least two years of direct clinical experience in an outpatient setting following graduation.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with utilizing computerized systems and software, including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY, is preferred for efficient documentation and communication.
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and psychotropic resources can enhance client treatment strategies.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Our fee-for-service model guarantees competitive rates that are paid in advance of collections, allowing you to focus on client care rather than financial stress. We also offer bonus opportunities to reward exceptional performance.

  • Work as a W2 employee, prioritizing a balanced work-life schedule.
  • Engage in an outpatient practice that is led by clinicians, empowering your voice within the organization.
  • Take advantage of in-house cross-training opportunities to broaden your skill set.
  • Participate in our 401k retirement plan with company contributions.
  • Access an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) as well as opportunities for professional development through free Continuing Education Units (CEUs) on various mental health topics.
Career Growth Opportunities

Solaris Behavioral Health Center is committed to the professional development of our staff. In this role, you will have access to various training programs to enhance your skills and clinical expertise. As you gain experience and demonstrate your skills, you may have opportunities to take on leadership roles or specialize in specific areas of mental health practice, thereby advancing your career within the organization.

Why Join Our Team

By joining Solaris Behavioral Health Center, you will become part of a dedicated team that values collaboration, creativity, and the steadfast support of one another. Our commitment to providing exceptional mental health services also extends to fostering a rewarding work culture for all employees.
