Work Remote: Columbus Ohio Metro Area with travel in multi-state territory

EMCO Building Products and Eastside Machine Co., partner companies in the construction manufacturing industry, are jointly seeking a driven and results-oriented Territory Manager to execute our sales and marketing strategies in an assigned region based in the Columbus Ohio Metro area. In this remote position, this role is essential in expanding our customer base, increasing sales of EMCO’s exterior building products, and selling Eastside roll-forming machines. You’ll be a key part of our growth strategy—building relationships, managing accounts, and driving revenue across the territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a territory management plan with specific customer sales goals.
  • Actively promote EMCO/Eastside products through regular in-person, phone, and email contact with customers.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing accounts.
  • Provide market intelligence to support the company’s strategic planning, including competitor activity, market trends, and product feedback.
  • Attend and represent EMCO/Eastside at regional and national trade shows.
  • Achieve or exceed budgeted sales and profit goals within your territory.
  • Train and support distributors, dealers, and sales teams.
  • Recommend changes to distributor/dealer networks where beneficial.
  • Utilize CRM to track and manage sales opportunities and customer interactions.
  • Maintain a forward-looking travel calendar with detailed two-week itineraries.
  • Assist with collections, warranty inspections, and customer service activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience, including 2+ years in territory or field sales.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills—written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with diverse customers.
  • Proven public relations and customer relationship-building skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
