About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to lead finance and accounting operations for TMBCRS and Hebron. This is a high impact role that combines hands on financial management with strategic operational partnership in a unique northern and remote operating environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial discipline, operational planning, reporting, and decision making across both entities. This position requires someone who is comfortable balancing day to day accounting responsibilities with long term financial planning and operational support.


What You'll Do:

Lead Full Cycle Finance & Accounting

  • Manage full cycle accounting, including AP/AR, payroll oversight, bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, revenue recognition, taxation, and financial close
  • Maintain accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Oversee cash flow, working capital, collections, and funding requirements

Drive Planning & Financial Performance

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Monitor financial performance and analyze variances
  • Support season planning based on bookings, forecasts, and operational projections
  • Develop financial and operational KPIs to monitor performance and contractual obligations

Partner with Operations

  • Act as a trusted advisor to operational leadership
  • Translate financial data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Support operational decision making related to staffing, logistics, procurement, and operating costs
  • Work collaboratively with operations to improve efficiency and financial accountability

Strengthen Controls & Improve Processes

  • Identify cost saving opportunities and operational improvements
  • Develop and maintain internal controls, including fuel tracking, inventory monitoring, and onsite payment processes
  • Support implementation of systems and tools that improve reporting and operational visibility

Support Strategic Projects

  • Assist with incorporation of new entities and related financial setup
  • Support banking, payment systems, and financial infrastructure implementation
  • Lead or support the migration of TMBCRS and Hebron financial transactions into a dedicated accounting environment
  • Support implementation of reservation and inventory management systems
  • Provide coverage for other Finance Business Partners during periods of leave
  • Support additional projects and operational initiatives as required


What You Bring

  • CPA designation is considered an asset
  • 5-10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience
  • Proven experience managing full cycle accounting independently
  • Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling skills
  • Experience working in remote operations, tourism, hospitality, logistics, or similar industries is considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, reporting, and operational finance
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems
