Join a growing behavioral healthcare organization as our Director of Patient Financial Services, leading revenue cycle operations that support mental health and substance use treatment programs across multiple locations. In this leadership role, you'll oversee billing, collections, reimbursement, accounts receivable, and revenue cycle performance while partnering with operational and clinical leaders. We're seeking an experienced healthcare revenue cycle leader who can improve financial outcomes, strengthen processes, and support an exceptional patient financial experience.Responsibilities
  • Lead patient financial services and revenue cycle operations across a multi-site behavioral healthcare organization.
  • Oversee billing, collections, accounts receivable, denials management, reimbursement, and cash posting functions.
  • Partner with operational, clinical, compliance, and finance leaders to support revenue cycle performance and organizational goals.
  • Monitor key financial and operational metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reimbursement outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations, payer requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Manage relationships with payers, vendors, and external revenue cycle partners.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor revenue cycle leaders while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
  • 5-10 years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle experience
  • Experience leading teams and managing revenue cycle performance
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance, government payers, billing, collections, and reimbursement processes
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and leadership skills
