Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status and establish the appropriate course of treatment.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with team members, supervisors, families, and other collateral figures concerning clients' progress and needs.
  • Develop and provide a structured schedule of appointments, home visits, and therapeutic observations to monitor client advancement actively.
  • Coordinate and conduct home visits for in-depth observations, chart reviews, and staff interviews, as necessary.
  • Implement and ensure the fidelity of the treatment plans while actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to align care strategies.
  • Document patient progress meticulously through monthly and quarterly notes, ensuring transparent communication with all stakeholders involved in the care process.
  • Organize and lead training sessions to ensure all staff members are adequately informed about the program plan and documentation practices.
  • Provide continuous support through follow-up interviews and additional home visits based on patients' evolving needs.
  • Serve as a liaison to the community and collaborate with external organizations to further develop and refine therapeutic programs.
  • Develop procedures for training materials that enhance program effectiveness for clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Motion Matrix Counseling, you will work with a varied client population, including both adults and youth. Our focus is to address a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. By tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the distinct needs of each individual, you will contribute significantly to their journey toward recovery and well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.
  • Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in counseling, preferably within a clinical setting.
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly preferred.
  • A comprehensive understanding of legal and ethical counseling standards is essential.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software and relevant counseling technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience conducting home visits and providing in-home therapy services.
  • Background in developing and facilitating training programs for peer and staff development.
  • Understanding of community health resources and their integration into client care plans.
