Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to facilitate effective treatment.
  • Engage with clients through virtual sessions, offering a safe space for exploration of their thoughts and feelings.
  • Document session notes and treatment progress accurately to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations.
  • Provide ongoing support and follow-up care, adjusting treatment plans based on clients’ progress and feedback.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to collaborate on case management and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor will primarily work with a diverse cohort of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults coping with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related concerns. Our clients are typically referred by schools or community organizations, providing a unique opportunity to impact the mental well-being of individuals in need.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a valid, active mental health license in the state of Maryland (LCSW-C, LMFT, LCPC, PsyD, PhD, etc.), enabling you to provide unsupervised therapy.
  • A clean professional record without any disciplinary actions from licensing boards.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy, particularly with adults in a telehealth setting.
  • Proven proficiency in conducting intake assessments and treatment planning.
  • Familiarity with digital health tools and telehealth best practices to create a seamless experience for clients.
  • Experience in working with evidence-based practices such as CBT and mindfulness-based interventions.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
