The Intelligent Process Automation Lab (IPAL) is building a team of experts dedicated to expanding delivery capacity and driving automation initiatives.
This role within IPAL is responsible for developing, supporting and maintaining automations developed on the UiPath and Azure AI/Foundry platform. Key responsibilities include developing new and enhancing existing solutions, ensuring optimal performance, and maintaining adherence to defined specifications. The role also involves serving as a technical lead to identify the most effective solution approaches within the UiPath environment, translating business requirements and architectural direction into scalable, high-quality solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful automation outcomes. Due to ongoing support requirements, participation in an On-Call rotation may be required.

Required Job Qualifications
Bachelor Degree and 5 years Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 7 year Information Technology experience OR 9 years Information Technology experience.

  • Hands-on development experience with Intelligent Automation platforms (UiPath) and Azure AI and Foundry.
  • Knowledge of application configuration and system setup
  • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and iterative development
  • Understanding of cloud technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS)
  • Knowledge of Scripting Languages - PYTHON
  • Service Oriented Architecture (SOAP/REST)
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as C# and VB.Net
  • Experience with rapid prototyping and solution design
  • Requirements definition and management
  • System performance monitoring and optimization experience
  • Demonstrated conceptual, creative, and analytical thinking abilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with code repository tools such as GitHub

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6+ year Information Technology experience OR 8+ years Information Technology experience.
  • Proven ability to execute and deliver results
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across business and teams (business stakeholders, process owners, infrastructure, analysts, developers)
  • Experience leading, mentoring and guiding development teams
  • Hands-on development experience with RPA platforms (UiPath)
  • 3+ years of RPA development experience and 6+ years of overall IT experience
  • Experience creating Solution Design Documents (SDDs) aligned to best practices (modularity, reliability, maintainability, reusability)
  • 2+ years of hands-on programming experience (e.g., .NET, Java, C/C#, VB, Python, SQL, web services, or related technologies)
  • Exposure to multiple automation environments such as desktop, web, Citrix, Salesforce, Microsoft products, mainframe, or legacy systems
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design principles
  • Ability to multitask and lead development efforts to meet delivery timelines
  • Relevant certifications (UiPath and/or programming languages)
  • Experience working with cloud AI platforms such as Microsoft Azure or comparable technologies
