Position Overview
We are seeking a Merchandising Associate to take ownership of the high-volume, high-touch functions that keep our assortment accurate, our special-order pipeline moving, and our vendor relationships on track. This is a role for someone who is organized, detail-obsessed, and comfortable managing a steady stream of requests across multiple channels without dropping a single detail.
You will report to the Director of Merchandising and work alongside another Merchandising Associate. This role is critical to supporting the business as we expand and add new brand partners, which brings additional vendor touchpoints to manage.
You will gain exposure to many of the world's leading watch brands and work directly with vendors, sales advisors, content and our broader merchandising team. As Teddy Baldassarre continues to grow its brand portfolio and retail footprint, this role provides an opportunity to develop broad experience across merchandising operations and luxury retail.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accurate setup and maintenance of SKUs
  • Coordinate new product launches, strictly adhering to blackout windows and vendor launch schedules
  • Own special order availability requests submitted by Sales Advisors seeking timelines and stock confirmations directly from vendors
  • Communicate availability status back to Sales Advisors in a timely, accurate manner
  • Monitor vendor websites on a regular cadence to identify assortment changes, new releases, and discontinued models
  • Audit vendor-to-catalog (V2C) feeds to confirm product data is accurate and current
  • Track purchase orders through to delivery, following up with vendors on status and flagging delays
  • Support twice-weekly replenishment orders alongside the Merchandising team

Qualifications & Skills
  • A bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising, digital retail or ecommerce. In lieu of degree, 4 years equivalent work experience in merchandising, ecommerce, retail operations, buying, planning, vendor management, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through on high-volume, recurring tasks
  • Comfortable manage multiple requests varying in complexity and volume, across multiple platforms
  • Clear, professional written communication, especially in fast-moving Slack channels
  • Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
  • Ability to read and interpret vendor availability responses, purchase orders, and product feeds
  • High level of integrity and ownership
  • Interest in or knowledge of watches and the luxury goods space is a plus
  • Experience with Shopify is a plus
