Remote

Changeis, Inc. is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer 2 to support enterprise IT shared services operations within a cabinet-level federal agency environment. This role blends software development lifecycle expertise with cloud infrastructure engineering in a DevSecOps model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (AWS preferred)

  • Operate within a DevSecOps framework aligned with federal security requirements

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

  • Implement automated infrastructure capabilities including backups, monitoring, and security tooling

  • Utilize configuration and deployment tools (Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, Ansible)

  • Manage version control workflows (Git, Bitbucket, SVN, or similar)

  • Collaborate across development and operations teams to streamline delivery

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of IT experience (application development background preferred)

  • 6+ years in DevOps/SDLC environments

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, automation, and DevSecOps principles

  • Hands-on AWS experience and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)

  • Experience with deployment/configuration tools (Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, Ansible)

  • Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, SVN)
