Job description


The Highlights:

Under minimal direction, works primarily in Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM/EPBCS modules. Builds and develops application tables, panels, and reports. Codes individual modules and complex functions.  Designs and develops most aspects of data conversion. Troubleshoots and resolves testing issues. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of Oracle Cloud activities, but requires instruction and guidance in phases. Serves as a senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures, including business processes. Defines detailed requirements, analyzes business needs, and validates Cloud solutions with the client. Acts as a mentor for intermediate and associate developers/analysts. 

What You'll Do:

1. Responsible for supporting all Oracle Cloud modules - configurations, reports and interfaces, security, testing and user training. Creates and maintains system/application documentation. Utilizes advanced knowledge of business processes/functions to research, troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

2. Proficient in business functions in order to provide expertise on new application releases and new functionality in modules. Advises users on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems. Acts as mentor for intermediate and associate level developers/analysts.

3. Partners with HR, Payroll, and Finance to identify and implement new features and improvements. Configures Oracle Cloud to meet functional requirements and document application set-ups. 

4. Partners with Cloud admins for upgrades/patches for impacts to functionality.

5. Improves knowledge in best practices and new technologies for use with functional area goals and objectives. 

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Preferred field of study in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years experience working on most Oracle's Cloud-based HCM, ERP and EPBCS  modules.  
  • Experience in requirements gathering, design, development, and testing of Oracle Cloud applications.
  • Experience supporting some combination of Oracle HCM and ERP applications such as: Recruiting, Talent Management, Benefits, Payroll, Purchasing, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Project Contracts modules.
  • Higher education industry experience desirable.
  • Advanced experience with BI reporting technologies, Oracle Business Intelligence. 
  • Advanced experience with cloud security and workflows is desirable. 
  • Excellent planning, organizing and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple complex projects, and recommend industry-best practices based on business requirements.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to articulate information in both technical and non-technical verbiage.
  • Ability to take part in cross-functional discussions to analyze requirements and recommend solutions.

The anticipated hiring range for this position is: $99,505 to $140,000. 

The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
