About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Senior Sales Manager Strategic Accounts - General Nonprofits to join our sales team. This position will lead a team of experienced Strategic Account Executives responsible for driving growth across our largest and most complex nonprofit organizations. The successful candidate will develop and strengthen executive relationships with senior leaders at mission-driven organizations while coaching Strategic AEs through sophisticated, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing enterprise sales teams, developing top talent, and consistently delivering revenue growth in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of Strategic Account Executives to achieve quarterly and annual bookings and revenue targets.
  • Coach experienced sales professionals through complex, consultative sales motions involving executive buyers, multiple decision-makers, and long sales cycles.
  • Drive disciplined execution of account planning, pipeline management, opportunity strategy, and forecasting.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top-performing senior sales talent through coaching, mentoring, and career development.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic nonprofit organizations and key industry stakeholders.
  • Attend, Present, and Collaborate with in market thought leaders to grow brand presence at medium/large conferences
  • Partner with Strategic Account Executives to identify and execute growth strategies within large, sophisticated nonprofit accounts.
  • Support high-impact opportunities by assisting with deal strategy, executive alignment, negotiations, and business case development.
  • Monitor trends and emerging opportunities across the nonprofit sector to help inform go-to-market strategy.
  • Leverage customer insights, pipeline data, bookings performance, and sales metrics to identify strengths, address gaps, and optimize team performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, Solution Consultants, Product, and Executive Leadership to accelerate customer outcomes and business growth.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience leading enterprise or strategic sales teams in a SaaS environment.
  • 10+ years of successful SaaS sales experience, including experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing Account Executives selling to senior executives and enterprise-level buyers in complex and long sales cycles.
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to elevate experienced sales professionals to higher levels of performance.
  • Expertise in strategic account planning, enterprise opportunity management, forecasting, and executive-level engagement.
  • Experience closing large, multi-stakeholder transactions involving complex buying committees and extended decision cycles.
  • A data-driven approach to sales leadership, balancing accountability, development, and results.
  • Passion for helping mission-driven organizations achieve greater impact through technology.
  • Experience serving nonprofit organizations or familiarity with the nonprofit sector is strongly preferred.

The starting base salary and annual proposed commission is $183,300.00 to $249,600.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, sales quota, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
