• Conduct thorough clinical assessments of patients using secure telehealth tools, and develop individualized treatment plans that encompass solution-focused interventions.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) tailored to the needs of your clients, maximizing effectiveness in a virtual setting.
• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation using advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations including HIPAA.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with a multidisciplinary team composed of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, leveraging virtual platforms for effective communication.
• Participate in ongoing case consultations and peer review meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and quality enhancement in remote mental health care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health concerns, treatment processes, and community resources available, fostering a supportive understanding.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health methodologies and research by attending online seminars and training opportunities.

In this role, you will work with a diverse population including patients facing terminal illnesses, mental health challenges, and emotional crises. You will play a key role in addressing their psychological and emotional needs, guiding them and their families through difficult times with sensitivity and professionalism.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy, demonstrating solid competencies in individual and family therapy.
• Proficiency in solution-focused treatment methods with flexibility to adapt to virtual service delivery.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to establish rapport and build trust in a remote setting.
• Adept problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities to navigate the challenges of remote care.

• Experience working in a hospice or palliative care setting is highly desirable.

• This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000.
