Licensed Physical Therapist - Full-time, Temporary (Remote within Arkansas)
Job Summary:
• The purpose of this position is to utilize clinical expertise for the review of medical records against appropriate criteria in conjunction with contract requirements, apply critical thinking and decision-making skills to determine medical appropriateness while maintaining productivity goals and QA standards.
Responsibilities:
• Review and interpret patient records and compare against criteria to determine medical necessity and appropriateness of care. Determine if the medical record documentation supports the need for services and documents appropriate interventions.
• Determine approval or initiates a referral to the consulting physician and process the physician's decisions ensuring reason for the denial is described in sufficient detail on correspondence.

• Current, active and unrestricted license in the state of Arkansas as one of the following:
o Physical Therapist (PT) issued by the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy.
• 2+ years of clinical experience in a PT setting.
• 1+ years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Completion of a Master's or higher-level degree program in PT meeting state licensure requirements.
• Must reside in the state of Arkansas.
