Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of patients through telehealth, employing solution-focused practices to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to meet the unique needs of each client in a remote setting.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in a secure electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with all professional regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, via virtual meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust care strategies as necessary.
• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review sessions, enhancing care quality through collaborative feedback and shared insights.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources using digital communication methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia is mandatory.
