Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments for children, adolescents, and families.
• Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques, facilitating both individual and group therapy for students coping with a range of mental health concerns.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention services during emergencies, using effective de-escalation techniques to stabilize clients and provide immediate support.
• Establish and nurture relationships with families, educators, and community service providers to create a holistic support network around each client.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all services rendered in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in quality assurance initiatives, clinical meetings, and ongoing training to enhance service delivery and professional development.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide consultation and support for other healthcare professionals involved in client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work closely with a diverse population of students dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns. You will play a crucial role in helping these individuals develop coping strategies, improve their social skills, and achieve their personal and academic goals.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas is essential.

Compensation and Benefits
